Next Stop does not sell travel, take payment, hold your money, or act as agent for any airline, hostel, rail operator or activity provider. We are not a tour operator and we do not package trips. When you follow a booking link you are contracting directly with that supplier, on their terms, and your money goes to them. Your confirmation, your refund rights, your loyalty points and any dispute all sit between you and them.

You never pay us. Some links on this site — travel insurance, an eSIM, a rail pass, and the Hostelworld option offered beneath a property's own booking page — earn us a commission from that company if you buy through them. It costs you nothing extra and the price is the same as going there directly.

What that money never buys: a place in a route. No hostel, hotel, operator or tourism board pays to be researched, included, ranked or recommended here, and none ever will. Where a property has its own booking page we put it first, uncommissioned, above the marketplaces that would pay us.

Every price on this site is either an estimate from our own research, or a live quote a supplier gave us at the moment you asked for it. Both are shown with the date and the dates they were priced against. Accommodation, rail and airfares change constantly, and by the time you click through the supplier's own price may be different. The price on the supplier's page at the moment you book is the only one that counts.

Where a total excludes something — most often international flights, until you tell us which airport you fly from — we say so beside the number rather than underneath it. Prices are per person in Australian dollars unless stated; other currencies are converted at a recent rate for reading, not for paying.

We research carefully and we correct mistakes when we find them, but we cannot promise a published price is available. Nothing here is an offer to sell you anything at any price.

Visa and entry information is a starting point, not advice, and it can be wrong or out of date. Check the official source for your passport before you book anything. For Australians, Smartraveller is the authority on destination risk. You are responsible for your own travel insurance, vaccinations and documents.

You need to be 18 or older to create an account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login. Don't upload a photo or write a bio you wouldn't want a stranger to see, and don't put anything in them that is someone else's to share. We can remove content or close an account that is used to harass, impersonate or spam.

The routes, research, prices, words and design on this site are ours. You are welcome to use them to plan and book your own travel; you may not scrape or republish them as a competing product. Photographs belong to their photographers and are used under the licences named beside them.

This is a small operation and the site is provided as it is. We don't promise it will always be available or always be free of errors, and we may change or remove routes at any time.

Nothing here excludes any guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other right that cannot legally be excluded. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses arising from a supplier's acts or omissions, from a price or piece of information here being wrong or out of date, or from anything that happens on your trip. We take no payment from you, so where liability can be limited it is limited to resupplying this information.

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
